The Blue Pig is an illustrious drinking hole situated right in the heart of the Northern Quarter.
With a laid back atmosphere, Walrus calls itself "one of the Northern Quarter's most unique and intimate bars".
Odd Bar has cemented itself as a Northern Quarter favourite over the years. A casual spot that serves craft ales (and great burgers too).
Cane & Grain is a New York-style bar over three themed floors. The ground floor takes its inspiration from previous occupant, Cast, a legendary NQ skate shop.
Soup Kitchen is a unique bar and music venue, with plenty of cask ales and premium beers on offer.
Since winning Best Newcomer at the Manchester Food & Drink Festival in 2012, Bakerie has gone from strength to strength and is big Sister to 'Pie & Ale'.

PLY offers "industrial chic". Situated in Stevenson Square, the bar offers craft beers, cocktails and great pizza!
Port Street Beer House is the beer-enthusiasts heaven. Voted in The Guardian's top 10 bars and pubs for craft beers, we couldn't miss out this gem!
Kosmonaut is a roomy bar with a great atmosphere. With plenty of ales and beers to choose from and great music playing, it's a great penultimate stop for the DeCASKathlon.
Situated on the corner of Tariff and Dale Street (hence the name), Tariff & Dale exclusively stocks UK draught craft beers, excellently sources wined and delicious imported cans and bottles.
Over the course of the day we will be visiting 10 different pubs. Each of these pubs will be taking part in Manchester Beer Week, where Forever Manchester is the charity partner. Some of these will also be serving Forever Manchester's '10 Boroughs Pale Ale', which raises money for Forever Manchester, so be sure to try it!
